Hello all, well, my Grandma Johnson called me out for not updating my blog in absolutely ages, so I hold my hands up. Ben and I just bought a new camera, and since we are trying to save up some pennies for our upcoming China trip, we are trying to have expense-free weekends. The past few have been a success. We have gone to Portabello beach, been to the 2p arcade (yes, it is spending something, but come on, it was a bunch of 2ps!!), visited the free modern art museum here in Edinburgh, went to the Royal Botanic Gardens of Edinburgh, and had a bunch of fun trying out our new camera. Above are some pictures from our adventures, along with a few others.

Me at the 2p arcade machine.
These are my first Swedish meatballs! Yummy!
A really neat white leaf at the Royal Botanic gardens
My handsome man enjoying the sun at the Botanics.
Gorgeous bluebells. They absolutely glow indigo!
A cheeky squirrel looking for a hand out.
A teeny-tiny orchid. We were testing out the 'macro' function on our camera.
This is me a few weekends ago, at Whitmuir farm. They have the most amazing omletts, and this one had a whole fry-up in it! It had: bacon, 2 (whole) sausages, mushrooms, a whole tomato (cut in halves) potatoes, and onions!! It was amazing.
